Staying Warm on a UTV Ride
It's possible to enjoy a comfortable UTV ride during the winter. Just use the following strategies for staying warm on the trail.
1. Dress In Layers
Layering clothing is the best way to stay warm while riding in a UTV.
Start with a base layer of thermal underwear made from materials like merino wool. This helps trap body heat and wick away moisture.
Next, add one or two middle layers made from materials like fleece.
Finally, top it off with a waterproof outer layer to keep the wind and the moisture out.
2. Protect Your Extremities
Your hands, feet, and head can get quite cold on a side-by-side ride, especially when the wind picks up!
Fight back against the cold by wearing insulated gloves, boots, and either a hat or balaclava.
You can also bring along hand warmers to add some extra warmth.
3. Bring A Hot Drink Along For The Ride
Nothing warms you up like a hot cup of coffee or tea during chilly UTV rides! Fill an insulated mug with your favorite beverage before heading out on the trail. By the time you reach your destination, it will still be warm and ready to enjoy.
These tips can help keep UTV riders stay warm while they take in the winter scenery. Don't let the cold temperatures keep you inside – get out there and explore!
